The road to becoming an RMT started with a baseball, a hematoma and a colleague studying to become an Aromatherapist.
After attending the University of Guelph and initially wanting to pursue teaching, my path was diverted by the aforementioned baseball incident.
Instead, I attended the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in Kitchener, Ontario. After 2200 hours I graduated with a focus on sports massage (because regardless of the cause, playing sports or falling off a ladder, the injury and healing models are the same - albeit maybe more intense for professional athletes!) . Since then my career has expanded into a family focussed practice with many years of compounded education and knowledge. I work with seniors and infants alike. EveryBODY is welcome.
