The road to becoming an RMT started with a baseball, a hematoma and a colleague studying to become an Aromatherapist.
After attending the University of Guelph and initially wanting to pursue teaching as my career, my path was diverted by the aforementioned baseball incident.
Instead of teacher’s college I attended the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in Kitchener, Ontario. After 2200 hours I graduated with a focus on sports massage (because regardless of the cause, playing sports or falling off a ladder, the injury and healing models are the same- albeit maybe more intense for professional athletes!) . Since then my career has expanded into a family focussed practice with many years of compounded education and knowledge. I work with seniors and infants alike. EveryBODY is welcome.
